This transformation function is used to determine the position of a substring within the input text. If the specified substring is not found, the function returns a negative number.

The parameters are:

• String to Search
  The substring to search for.
• Start Position
  he position in the input field at which the search begins. This parameter is optional. If omitted, it defaults to 0. The first position in the string is 0.
  If the start position is negative, the function counts backward by that number of characters from the end of the field and then searches toward the beginning.
• nth appearance
  The occurrence number of the substring to search for. This parameter is optional. If omitted, it defaults to 1.
